HTEC-video Infrared Temperature Measurement System Successfully Deployed in HuaSu Rotary Kiln, Enhancing High-Temperature Process Monitoring

Recently,HTEC-video successfully deployed its RB-TemTV-L infrared thermal imaging system on the rotary kiln production line of AnHui HuaSu Co., Ltd. The commissioning of this system marks a significant step forward for the client in achieving enhanced visualization and intelligent control of high-temperature processes.

The RB-TemTV-L is an infrared imaging system specifically developed by HTEC-video for continuous temperature monitoring in extreme high-temperature environments such as rotary kilns. Installed at the kiln’s front end (kiln head), the embedded high-temperature probe extends into the kiln chamber, capturing real-time thermal data from the flame zone and material flow area. The system supports multi-zone temperature monitoring and can automatically trigger image and alarm outputs when thresholds are exceeded.

As shown in the monitoring video, four key measurement zones have been configured:

Zone 1: Above the flame core

Zone 2: Flame center

Zone 3: Bottom of the flame or material inlet

Zone 4: Kiln floor

On the right side of the interface, real-time thermal imaging and corresponding temperature trend graphs are displayed simultaneously, enabling operators to promptly evaluate combustion conditions, improve thermal efficiency, and ensure uniform calcination.

The RB-TemTV-L is equipped with a dual cooling system (air and water), allowing stable operation in furnace environments up to 1800°C. Additionally, an automatic retraction mechanism is included to protect the probe and optical components by withdrawing the device in the event of abnormal conditions such as overtemperature, power failure, or air pressure loss.
