HTEC-video Partners with Jiangsu Longteng Special Steel Group to Advance Steel Ladle Visualization

HTEC-video has carried out cooperation with Jiangsu Longteng Special Steel Group. In response to the production safety and visualization requirements for the steel ladle process during steelmaking, HTEC-video configured the RB-Zkcam-GB steel ladle endoscopic high-temperature visualization system for this project.

Steel Ladle Visualization for High-Temperature Steelmaking

The traditional observation method based on manual experience requires operators to stand on the corridor diagonally above the steel ladle and observe downward. However, during production, a large amount of dense smoke, high-temperature radiation, and environmental vibration are generated, which brings significant safety risks to operators and makes it difficult to achieve continuous and stable process control. For this reason, the steel ladle visualization project was specifically promoted to carry out real-time monitoring of the molten steel condition inside the ladle. Through real-time images displayed in the central control room, operators can intuitively understand the distribution and changes of molten steel inside the ladle.

The RB-Zkcam-GB system adopts an overall stainless-steel structural design and is fixed to the upper side of the steel ladle by a heavy-duty industrial bracket. The structure is stable and capable of adapting to frequent on-site operations and vibration conditions. RB-Zkcam-GB is equipped with a high-temperature dedicated pinhole lens and utilizes compressed air cooling. The internal airflow provides continuous forced air cooling for the camera and lens, while a stable air curtain is formed at the front end of the lens, effectively isolating high-temperature radiation, dust, and splashing materials.

Ongoing Cooperation in High-Temperature Monitoring

In addition to this steel ladle visualization project, HTEC-video is also carrying out continuous cooperation and technical planning with Jiangsu Longteng Special Steel Group around other key processes. Relevant high-temperature monitoring solutions are currently being promoted.
